KEO Films

Objective: A complete re-design and re-build of the KEO Films website, in order to showcase their work and support their social media activity.

KEO Films is a multi-award winning production company, developing and producing challenging and thought provoking films and TV programmes such as Exodus; Our Journey to Europe for BBC2, Hugh’s War on Waste for BBC1 and the Banksy’s directorial debut Exit through the Giftshop.

Challenge

To present their wide-ranging repertoire of work in a clear and dynamic way. Making the site responsive across all devices—mobile through to desktop.

The site also had to be easy to self-administer in order that staff can regularly promote their work and awards.

Solution

With access to such rich imagery we designed the site with a hero image that fills the home page. Each production has the ability to add video trailers, clear links to social media sites and external microsites.

The site has been designed to present a lot of information in a far simpler way, the navigation has been simplified so that work and news items are more readily accessible.

The site was built using WordPress, making it easier for them to administer than their previous custom built CMS site, and we also provided full training and ongoing support.

We have also redesigned and reconfigured their in-house intranet so that it works effectively for staff across all of their global locations.
